Finally by Kim Dusener

Kim has just completed the requirements to graduate with an Ontario Secondary School Diploma.  After submitting her final assignment she was fidgeting; didn’t know what to do now that she was done.  We suggested putting into words how she felt.  Finally is the short short of how she felt that day, May 09, 2011.

Congratulations from all of us Kim !

A Time for Peace

I Love You Mom

by Joesph Paishk

Joe lives in Red Lake, Ontario.  He lives there with his beautiful wife, Judy.  Joe has been attending the Adult Learning Centre for the past few years as he works hard to be an inspiration to his children and the rest of the community.  He enjoys sharing his tales with us and we enjoy hearing them.

The above true stories were previously only spoken in the Ojibway language as a small boy before going to the Indian Residential School. Below is a picture of Joe’s Grandpa and Grandma.

 Thanks for sharing Joe.
